Back in 2007 our youth won the T-shirt contest for the conference retreat, Resurrection '07. Wonderful! But after it was over we had lots of T-shirts left. We gave away lots of them. But we still had so many left. This past summer, making a connection with another church, we were able to ship them to Paraguay. Here's a picture and a bit of info from the folks concerned:
'We received over 400 of the shirts from Mable this trip and the shirts are such a hit with the children and their families….we had enough to give all the children from first grade and up and most of the staff. Now as I walk through the barrio, I see blue everywhere.'

Call to Worship
Tell all the generations to come the glorious deeds of the Lord!
The Nicene Creed

Hymn Majesty
Prayer of the Day
Almighty God, you make streams come out of a rock in the desert and give us to drink abundantly. By your Spirit, fill us with Christ, the Living Water, so that we might think as he has taught us and so work out our own salvation, for you are at work in us. You are our Almighty God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Words of Praise from Psalm 78
Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
We will tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord.
He commanded our ancestors to teach to their children;
That children yet unborn, and rise up and tell them to their children,
So that they should set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God;
And that they should not be like their ancestors: stubborn and rebellious,
A generation whose heart was not steadfast, whose spirit was not faithful to God.
In the sight of their ancestors he worked marvels in the land--
He divided the sea and let them pass through it, and made the waters stand like a heap.
In the daytime he led them with a cloud, and all night long with a fiery light.
He split rocks open in the wilderness, and gave them drink abundantly as from the deep.
He made streams come out of the rock, and caused waters to flow down like rivers.
